Fused-glass jewellery - stud earrings - 123

A pair of unique fused-glass stud earrings, handmade in Ballydehob, West Cork.
These earrings are made from two layers of sparkly dichroic glass fused in my kiln at temperatures up to 800c in a process that takes 8 hours.

The dichroic glass, in an unusual black and pale gold 'chequerboard' style which changes colour as they move in the light, are mounted on Sterling Silver studs.

Earrings are just over 1/2" / 12mm tall.
